If you didn't think that Aaron already had enough power at his fingertips, as of April 2008, President Neil will now have Treasurer A.J.Skrivan at his side for all of his important financial decisions. "Tresurer Skrivan gives me the confidence I need as Pres. Not only can I swipe my credit card with glee, but I can also spend billions of dollars at the drop of a hat thanks to Mr. Skrivan's financial savvy."
This news comes in the wake of a difficult and drawn-out campaign against A.J.Skrivan's rival A.Abstain beginning in the Fall of last year. Skrivan stole the heart of America with witty slogans like these:
No student left behind.
Ask not what your college can do for you...
It's the economy, stupid.
Are you better off than you were four years ago?
Skrivan, managing the future.
Elect Skrivan a sheriff for all the people.
"Predestined to Lead"
"Me and Steve Jobs make life better"
"Your vote secures an iPhone"
As moving as these slogans were, nothing compared to his tear-jerking speech which will forever be recorded in history books across the globe.
It looks like America's economy issues are finally over. Congratulations world.

Hey everyone,
I know that many of you did not have a chance to come to the speeches, so I decided to post it on facebook. Enjoy.
Good evening.
My name is Aaron Skrivan and I am running for the position of Student Body treasurer. As treasurer, I am prepared to not only follow the guidelines for this position, but also assist the senate in the various campus activities that they will be taking part in. I am running unopposed for this position. This means that tomorrow, you will have two options when voting for treasurer: you can either vote for me, or you can vote to abstain. I would like to present to you some reasons why you should vote for me:
First, I have a great desire to serve the Covenant College student body. It is my hope that next year I will be able to actively participate in the student senate in order to serve you, the student body. My opponent Abstain does NOT have this desire. Now, you may ask, “Why am I running for the position of Student Senate treasurer as opposed to any of the other positions that are open for election?” As treasurer, I would be able to use my God given gifts and what I excel in best to serve the student body. I am a business major, receiving a business scholarship for attending Covenant College. Having taken several business classes this year, I will be able to use my skills in accounting and personal finance to serve the student body as treasurer. Also, I have experience dealing with finances in my personal life. I am actively involved in the US stock market, controlling both money that I have given to my financial advisor as well as money that I have placed in an online trading account.
Furthermore, I have experiences in leadership positions. Throughout high school, I served as a student government class representative for my Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years. During these years, I grew to love serving the student body of my high school. I look forward to doing so on a larger scale, as Student Body Treasurer of Covenant College.
Finally, I have had exposure to dealing with money in the past. My current job back home required me to write up deposits as well as deliver deposits. I understand that being in put in charge of other people’s money is a huge responsibility, one which I take very seriously. I believe this position requires a trustworthy person, and I believe that I am the man for the Job.
I would like to thank all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to come and listen to the speeches tonight.
Thank you, and Goodnight.
